This past week was filled with a special kind of joy as we celebrated Imogen’s first birthday—a big milestone that felt both sweet and a little bittersweet. We decided to mark the occasion by making Imogen a pair of blue corduroy pants using some thrifted fabric we found on a trip to Sebastopol at The Legacy. It’s a crafting resale shop run by the local senior center, and it’s been such an inspiring spot for us whenever we visit. No one at the celebration knew just how meaningful those tiny pants were, but we loved seeing Imogen light up the room in them.
Of course, having a celebration like this also brings reflections of Meyer’s memory to the surface. We miss them every day, but seeing the love around Imogen reminds us that Meyer would have cherished every bit of it, too.
On the business side, we’ve been deep in logistics for importing our Kniterate from Spain—fingers crossed it arrives soon! We’re excited for the new possibilities it will open up, and for the chance to bring more of our production in-house. As always, we’re grateful to you for sharing in our journey, both the big moments and the everyday details.
