We celebrated Imogen's first birthday this week. For the occasion, we made a pair of blue corduroy pants from fabric we'd found in Sebastopol at The Legacy, the crafting resale shop run by the local senior center. It's a place we find inspiring whenever we visit. No one at the celebration knew quite how much those little pants meant to us, but we loved seeing Imogen in them.
It was a sweet birthday, and a bittersweet one, too. Celebrations bring Meyer's memory close. We miss them every day, and seeing all the love around Imogen reminds us that Meyer would have cherished it, too.
Back on the business side, we've been working through the logistics of importing our Kniterate from Spain. We're hoping it arrives soon. Bringing more of our production in-house is something we're excited about, even while there's plenty of practical work to get through before the machine is here.
