This week felt like one of those whirlwind chapters in our story—so much happening all at once, yet each moment carrying its own bit of excitement. We kicked things off by welcoming a fresh shipment of fabric, including denim and a lemon-patterned (designed by our talented friend Jenny!) roll of twill that instantly made us smile. We’re planning a wide-leg silhouette pant with a few different patch pocket styles, all made from 100% American-grown cotton. It’s such a satisfying feeling to keep our production and materials right here at home, like we’re weaving a little piece of our roots into every stitch.
Getting ready for Valentine’s Day has also added a spark of fun to our days. We spent hours brainstorming how to decorate the store in a way that truly captures the love we want to share. Collaborating with Daisy has been a delight—her illustrations remind us of sweet memories of Meyer and Imogen, and it’s been special to see how those memories can come to life in new ways. Sometimes it’s the smallest details that make us pause and remember why we started this journey in the first place.
Lately, we’ve found ourselves diving deeper into early Indigenous Mexican culture, hoping to infuse that spirit and artistry into our upcoming knitwear collection. It’s a whole new realm for us, and while we’ve got a lot to learn, we’re embracing the challenge wholeheartedly. Our Kniterate machine should be arriving soon, and we’re already imagining the possibilities with different yarns and patterns. There’s a certain magic in not knowing exactly where this will lead—only that we’ll create something meaningful and joyful along the way.
And that’s where we are right now—chasing ideas, enjoying little bursts of creative energy, and soaking up all the love that seems to be swirling around us. We hope you can feel some of that warmth, too. Thanks for being part of our story.
