We value kindness to others and kindness to the planet.

From partnering with suppliers who truly care about the well-being of their workers and our environment, to producing high quality products worthy of your family’s investment, kindness is the cornerstone of every decision we make.

Grown, milled and made with kindness in the USA

Our supply chain is 100% based in the USA, no compromises! Our organic cotton is grown in Texas, sourced from the Texas Organic Cotton Growers Co-Op, then it’s spun, knit, and finished in North Carolina. We design our products and produce all embellishments in San Francisco, and our fabric is garment dyed nearby in Marin County using eco-friendly dyes. Then it’s all cut and sewn in small batches in North Carolina and Los Angeles.

What’s so important about a US-based supply chain?

This choice comes from our value for kindness to others and to the planet. By keeping our production within the USA, we ensure that every step of our supply chain meets our high standards for quality, sustainability, and ethical practices.

Our end-to-end domestic supply chain supports local economies and fair labor practices. We ensure that workers involved in every stage of our production are treated fairly and work in safe conditions. This commitment to ethical labor practices is a cornerstone of our brand, reflecting our dedication to kindness to others.

A local supply chain also significantly reduces our carbon footprint. Transporting materials and products over shorter distances means less reliance on fossil fuels, contributing to lower greenhouse gas emissions. This is crucial for our commitment to environmental sustainability and minimizing our impact on the planet.

Finally, a domestic supply chain aligns with our mission to build a community-focused brand. By keeping production local, we can foster closer relationships with our suppliers and partners, ensuring that our shared values are upheld throughout the supply chain.

While it may result in higher costs, we believe that these investments are essential for maintaining the integrity and values of Colorful Bunch. This choice reflects our commitment to producing high-quality, ethically-made products that our customers can trust and feel good about.

Why organic cotton?

We use organic cotton because we value kindness to others and kindness to the planet. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or GMOs, reducing harmful environmental impact and promoting biodiversity. This sustainable farming method uses less water and supports healthier soil through natural practices like crop rotation and composting. By choosing organic cotton, we protect ecosystems and conserve water resources.

Organic cotton is also safer for farmers and consumers. Farmers avoid exposure to toxic chemicals, which reduces health risks, while consumers enjoy garments free from chemical residues, making them ideal for sensitive skin, especially for babies and children.

By using organic cotton, we contribute to a more sustainable and ethical fashion industry, ensuring our products are kind to both people and the planet. This choice reflects our commitment to creating a positive impact through every piece of clothing we make.

What is garment dyeing? What are the benefits?

At Colorful Bunch, we prioritize kindness to the planet over cost-saving shortcuts. Unlike the traditional piece-dyeing method, which is often used to save money, we choose garment dyeing. Piece-dyeing involves dyeing large rolls of fabric before cutting them into patterns. This process consumes a lot of water, energy, and dye, and often results in excess unused fabric. That's not aligned with our values.

Instead, we first stitch our garments together and then dye them. This method allows us to use only the exact amount of water and dye needed, reducing waste and conserving resources. It aligns perfectly with our commitment to sustainability and minimizing environmental impact. Additionally, garment dyeing ensures that our clothes are pre-washed before reaching you, so you won’t face any shrinkage surprises.

By adopting garment dyeing, we ensure that our vibrant colors are achieved responsibly. This practice reflects our dedication to creating high-quality, sustainable, and ethically-made clothing that both kids and parents can feel good about.
